Multiple witness sighting on Hwy. 16 near the Emanuel/Candler county line

The witness was driving east on a divided highway in morning traffic with family traveling in two cars. A large black biped emerged from woods on the right and sprinted across the eastbound lanes in about two strides, passing in front of a semi and entering the wooded median, while the wife watched it continue across the westbound lanes. The witness, the wife, and the parents all reported seeing it.
