Native American elder observes a deer being chased
An elder witness watching from his front porch saw a deer running fast across a field with a large grey bipedal creature chasing it. The creature reportedly used its arms and legs in a loping run. Both animals left view, after which the witness heard the deer bleat, then a thump, then silence.
Multiple observations over three year span
The witness and his wife snowshoed into their wooded farm property in winter and found two sets of large human-shaped footprints in snow. The prints were old and melted, about 15-16 inches long with about a 52-inch step, extending over 200 yards and separating then rejoining. The witness compared the alternating left-right stride to his own stride and to leaping deer tracks, concluding the stride was too long for a human and the shape differed from deer.

A white, roughly 7-foot-tall creature then crossed the road in front of them from one wooded side to the other. After hearing it approach again, they fled and encountered a park officer.

Two people sitting in a cemetery after dark heard something approaching down a ridge and through trees. A tall white hair-covered human-like figure stepped over the fence, crossed the cemetery, then noticed the witnesses and left quickly over the opposite fence into timber with loud crashing. The witnesses reported a very strong unpleasant odor during the encounter.
Teenagers wading down the Olentangy River at night have a sighting south of Delaware
In mid-summer 1975 around midnight, the witness and three companions were wading the Olentangy River when they heard breaking brush and saw a tall hair-covered biped at the tree line. The figure followed them downstream as they moved, and they heard heavy movement in the water and a howl as they fled to a nearby apartment complex. At the woods edge near the apartments it stopped and stared at them before they ran toward town and abandoned their gear for two days.
