The witness was driving a truck with his son on a gravel road beside railroad tracks in daylight. A small reddish-brown hair-covered biped leaped across the road in mid-air directly in front of the truck, nearly being hit. It landed in tall grass by the tracks and disappeared without further sound despite a brief wait.

Unusual screams and two sightings near Shady Grove
The witness was driving with companions late at night to look around. A companion noticed two red eyes on a bank, initially thought to be a raccoon, then the creature blinked and walked upright on two legs across the road about 100 yards ahead. The group locked the doors and drove away as the creature disappeared into a timbered thicket.
