Man recalls childhood incident near Grayling

As children playing in a cedar swamp, the witness and two friends surprised a roughly six-foot, rusty-brown-haired creature sitting by a creek. They watched for about ten seconds as it stood about 70 feet away and walked gracefully deeper into the swamp. Afterward they went to the spot, found the stump warm to the touch and the ground disturbed, but no clear tracks.
