Motorist observes a large biped crossing US-33 at night near Plattsburg
The witness was driving south on US 33 near Plattsburg late at night when an upright animal crossed the road west to east in front of the vehicle. The animal moved very quickly from the ditch to a fence, braced with its left hand and jumped over with both feet into corn. The witness described a very tall, stout, shaggy light red-brown animal seen in side profile without a clear view of head or feet.

Daytime sighting by motorcyclist couple, a few miles from Saranac
The witness and his wife were coasting on a motorcycle on a wooded road when they saw two large, black, hairy figures standing in the middle of the road facing each other. The figures looked toward them and then ran quickly into the woods in opposite directions, bent at the waist. When the couple reached the spot, the figures were gone.
