Motorist watches massive bipedal figure cross a rural road south of Gaffney
The witness was driving to work in the early morning when she saw a large dark animal cross the road ahead and move toward woods. As she passed the crossing point, she saw a massive upright creature with long gray hair and a large white patch on its broad chest on a small hill. She returned after work and found no tracks but noticed a strong smell likened to fresh meat.

On August 1, 1990, a woman at a mobile home near Eldon, Oklahoma reported hearing noises and smelling a bad odor before seeing a very tall, heavy creature. A deputy later found large impressions at the scene. Two days later, two other residents reported a similar upright animal at a trash pile nearby.
