Two witnesses independently report same 1987 road crossing of a bigfoot 5mi north of Penn State Univ

Late at night two occupants driving slowly on a rural road braked for a very large upright hairy figure that stepped into the road in front of the car. The figure crossed the road in one or two strides, stepped over a barbed-wire fence, and disappeared. The occupants did not stop to look back and drove back to town rapidly.
