Multi-witness daylight sighting 3.5 miles SE of Sixmile Lake (Leech Lake Reservation)
Two relatives driving slowly while hunting for grouse were alerted to a large dark figure in a grassy ditch beside a side road. They backed up and watched the upper body of the tall, long-armed figure move slowly upright into the woods. At the site they noticed a strong foul odor and minor ground disturbance but no clear footprints on packed gravel. Later the same day a game warden told them that spot was known for similar reports.

Young man tells of childhood experiences
The witness woke in the middle of the night and saw the outline of a huge figure standing on the front deck, made visible by a security light. The figure was described as much taller and broader than a tall adult relative. Too frightened to approach the window, the witness lay back down.
