The witness was driving west on a dark rural hill road at night when headlights illuminated a large brown bipedal figure standing in the road. The figure had long wavy hair, broad shoulders, and debris in the hair on its backside. It stepped once to the guardrail, crossed over it, and disappeared from view.

The witness heard a deep howling sound near livestock pens after leaving a relative's farmhouse, then drove down the hill beside the house. In high-beam headlights the witness saw a large, dark-brown, hairy biped jump from an embankment and cross the rural road in a few steps without looking at the vehicle. The animal disappeared into a field on the other side, and the witness returned home agitated and called to warn the household to lock doors.

While camping with family, the witness walked up a wooded hill by cabins to collect insects late in the morning. After noticing a musty rotting-grass smell, the witness saw a large upright hair-covered figure off the path that turned and looked in her direction. The witness froze, then ran back down to camp and did not report the event to family at the time.
