Two people gathering firewood on a foggy mountainside saw a large hairy animal running on two legs ahead of them in timber. It traveled about 30 to 40 yards before they lost it in the fog. The witness felt certain it was not a bear and suggested it could have been a Sasquatch.

Juvenile sasquatch startles young squirrel hunters
Two witnesses who were squirrel hunting in woods near a work camp encountered a small dark hairy human-like creature perched on a low branch a few feet away. The creature watched them without moving its head, shifting only its gaze, then jumped down and ran away bipedally. The witnesses reported the encounter to the writer shortly afterward and showed the tree, but the hard dry ground showed no tracks.
