Camper sees ape-like animal in daylight

The witness was camping with a relative near Quakertown, Pennsylvania and went for a daytime walk alone near a dried creek bed. Across the bed the witness saw a large light-brown hair-covered ape-like creature in a crouched position that moved quietly into bushes and out of view. The witness ran back to camp and returned with a relative, who noted a deep depression at the spot but no further sign of the animal.
