Night sighting by a motorist near Freetown

The witness was driving northbound on a highway at night with a companion when the companion noticed a large hair-covered figure standing up from a crouch beside the road. The witness looked over and saw the figure standing very close to the vehicle for about three seconds as they passed. They returned to the location shortly afterward but saw nothing and then contacted emergency dispatch.
