Nighttime sighting by motorcyclist near Petersburg
The witness was riding a motorcycle east on KY 8 after leaving a friend's house and slowed for a bend known for deer crossings. A small bipedal creature crossed from the oncoming lane into his lane, and he swerved to miss it by less than a foot. He stopped past the crossing point, turned to aim his headlight on it, and watched it enter thick brush beside the road.

The witness was walking a dog in a backyard bordering woods during the middle of the day when the dog stopped and growled toward the fence. About 50 feet away at the fence line, a tall off-white hair-covered creature stared at the witness for a few minutes. When the creature turned to run, the witness retreated to the house with the dog and the creature was gone.
