The witness was walking on a shaded path near a pond while relatives fished nearby. The witness saw a black, skinny, short-haired figure about six feet tall leaning over drinking from a stream. When the witness approached, the figure stood quickly on two legs, grabbed a tree, and moved rapidly up a hill.

The witness was riding ahead of friends on 4-wheelers and stopped at the bottom of a hill to wait. He noticed a hair-covered bipedal animal about 150 feet away reaching into tree branches. When he went to alert his friends and returned, the creature walked upright over a hill crest and out of sight. His companions did not see it.

The witness was on a dirt road near the river in the early morning hours and turned on lights while preparing to leave. The lights revealed two upright, brown-haired creatures looking toward the witness that appeared frightened. The witness fled the area feeling very scared.

In early to mid-October 1981, the witness was driving to work on old Highway 68 toward Fayetteville. Near the bridge at Fairmount Road, the witness saw a reddish-brown figure digging at the ground beside the bridge. The figure looked up as the car passed, then jumped up and ran across the road in long, fast strides.
