BFRO Researcher has sighting in Severn Run State Park
The witness parked alongside the road in Severn Run State Park at twilight and stood behind the car looking into the woods while researching an earlier report. Through fog over a stream, about 150 yards away, the witness saw a light-tan, 8- to 9-foot animal standing in undergrowth and looking toward them. The animal stayed frozen despite shouting, clapping and whistling, and after about 15 minutes the witness left without obtaining photos.
Man recalls seeing a tall dark creature behind his house at dusk near Laurel
On a summer evening at dusk the witness was behind the home with the dog near a drainage pond bordering woods. The witness noticed rustling and saw a tall, hairy bipedal figure about 100 yards away just inside the treeline. The witness and dog watched it for a couple minutes until it looked toward them, then it turned and walked deeper into the woods, increasing its pace.

The witness, then 13, was playing alone along a stream between subdivisions on a clear late-fall afternoon. Feeling watched, he looked uphill about 250 ft away and saw a tall dark figure standing and looking in his direction. He ran away without looking back and told no one at the time.

In mid-summer or early fall of 1978 or 1979, the witness and a friend were in the woods behind the witness's house when they saw a tall hair-covered hunched figure in reeds about 300 feet away. They watched it for about 20 seconds before it noticed them, stood up, and ran into the woods. The witness was struck by how fast it moved through marshy mud that caused the children to sink to their knees.
