Two men in car see hairy, upright animal on side of road near Turner, Maine

The witness was a passenger with a companion driving on a back road toward a club when they passed a very hairy upright animal on the roadside that appeared mid-stride and ready to cross. Both occupants noticed it and immediately confirmed to each other what they had seen. At the club, other people said similar sightings had occurred in the area under the local name Loopgaroo.
