ATV rider is followed on private property near West Union
The witness was riding an ATV uphill with a young relative when a loud thumping sound prompted a look behind. The witness saw a very tall, hairy, human-like creature chasing them while carrying a small log. The witness accelerated into and across a grass field, and as they were leaving the field the creature threw the log toward them but missed. The log was gone when the witness returned the next day.
Evening sighting by two young boys
Two relatives were at a tree house in the evening when one noticed squawking birds, a shaking tree, and a long tail. After regrouping in the tree house, they fled toward a vehicle when a creature reportedly jumped from the tree and ran toward them. They reached the house highly frightened and later refused to return alone.
Nighttime sighting by mother and son in Lynx, near West Union
Late at night in December, the witness's wife reported seeing glowing eyes looking through a back window while the family watched TV. Moments later their son stepped onto the front porch and reported seeing a tall, dark, long-haired figure peeking from behind the garage. The reporter did not see the figure but later found a large faint footprint in the field beside the garage.
