Military serviceman finds 15 inch tracks in People's State Forest CT
The witness reports finding three large footprint-like impressions along a stream in a forested area. Dollar bills were placed beside them for scale and photos were taken, with the witness's spouse assisting in documentation. The witness estimated a foot length of at least 15 inches and a stride of at least five feet. Casts were later made and an investigator visited the site.

A large brown bipedal creature came out of the treeline, seemed to notice them, then retreated into the woods. The next day they found branches snapped high where it had emerged.

The next afternoon he and his son smelled a strong odor and found a large scat pile by the cabin steps. After months of rabbits and chickens disappearing from locked hutches without feathers or remains, the witness went to feed animals after fresh snow. He found open doors and human-like footprints leading to the tree line and felt watched. He threw a stick at a trunk-like shape in the woods, which then stood and ran off on two legs crashing through trees. The family later moved cages closer to the house and continued to occasionally hear loud screams from the woods.

In winter at the same spot they found very large footprints in snow with long stride they could not match. They joked about giants at the time and thought no more of it until later.

The witness, working as a night security guard at a facility, stepped onto a rear deck for a patrol around 3 a.m. and heard an extremely loud female-sounding scream from the wooded hillside about 100 feet away. After sunrise he inspected the nearby trail and found large footprints that he measured. He later found a similar scream online and said it matched what he heard.
