A commercial fisherman on a multi-day photography trip in remote Alaska found an exceptionally large human-like footprint in gravel and sand. The impression was deeper than nearby bear tracks, showed no claw marks, was documented with a boot for scale, and could be traced for about a hundred feet. He and his companion felt uneasy as if watched but reported no sounds or odors.

The witness was snowmachining at night with two companions when the witness rode ahead into an opening in the woods. After noticing strange tracks and a depression in fresh snow, the witness's headlight illuminated a figure about 10 to 12 feet ahead running away. The figure ran through deep snow, jumped over a snow-covered log, and disappeared into trees and darkness. The witness turned back, rejoined the companions, and left the area.

Two cousins walking along a riverbank saw what the cousin thought was something standing about 100 feet ahead. The writer could not see it clearly without glasses, and the cousin then dismissed it as a stump. The witness and a companion were tracking game near the edge of a swamp in the early morning when they found a single large human-like footprint among moose tracks. The witness described it as an 11-inch right foot with five toes and a large big toe, estimated to be a couple days old, with no other similar tracks found. Heavy rain prevented making a cast, and when the witness returned two days later the track was water-filled and unrecognizable.

They described it as about seven feet tall and ape-like, covering a roughly 35-foot-wide road in four to five steps. A family in Alaska has ongoing activity on their property that intensifies when the husband leaves for two-week work shifts. The wife reports things running across the roof, chattering like chimps, tracks everywhere, and a fast blur-like run-past with long hair, plus a game-camera image of a gorilla-like figure with long mop-like head hair. There are said to be three individuals of different colors.

While working in the park, the guest hiked to climb a mountain via a narrow valley and detoured to check an old cabin site. He found a large well-trodden trail, a shredded willow break, and a torn-apart rotten stump, which he attributed to snow and bears at the time. On the return in a sunny open spot he heard a loud single-syllable vocal from the woods over the creek and chose to leave for the wide river bar rather than investigate.
