On a winter night the witness checked the house perimeter in snow and saw isolated footprint-like marks on the peak of the roof with no apparent access path. He did not tell the resident what he saw and advised her to call again if noises recurred.

After a family trip, other members heard howls and the family later saw large dark figures moving fast on the ridge and trail with trees swaying. While descending a mountain trail alone after climbing with companions, the rider stopped for unknown reasons and heard loud growling nearby that the mind reinterpreted as water. The rider felt suddenly hot and euphoric and began removing clothing despite cold wet weather until companions arriving and splashing through water broke the state. Later on the same ride the group found very large fresh human-like footprints without claws in untouched mud.

The witness's brother and companions were walking a trail behind a factory when something large moved in the trees. It came down quickly, pushed trees down in front of it, and made a loud elephant-like sound. The group ran and later arrived loudly at the family home.

The next morning a large footprint and fingerprints were found on the trailer. On subsequent nights the visitor groaned by the fire, threw sticks and pine cones at the trailer, banged on it, and was watched with night optics walking between the tree line and river.

The witness and a companion were fishing at night under a river bridge when they found a fresh human-like track in the mud. They then heard loud roars ending in screams, heavy movement and thudding from across the river, had rocks thrown toward them, and heard splashing and grunting as they left. At the truck they found river mud spattered on the vehicle with a strong foul odor.

Over several months the household noticed episodic skunk-like odors, distinct tree knocks, grunts and owl-like mimicry, nightly dog barking and motion lights tripping. A chain-link dog kennel was found shoved inward with no recent bear sign. Muffled conversation-like sounds were heard behind the house with no footprints found.

The witness was in a tree stand when he heard higher-pitched chatter and movement approaching, followed by a grunt, silence, and sounds of two things running downhill. Using his crossbow scope he saw a dark-skinned hand on an oak and then a face peering at him, later stepping into a shooting lane. After he lowered his bow the female left downhill where a loud pop and crashing was heard, and a healthy snapped tree was photographed the next morning.

On a later family walk down the same two-track, the witness noticed a single bare footprint in the middle of the trail. No other prints were seen and no shoes or sandals would explain it. The witness wondered if it was from a young Sasquatch.

Following a heavy blood smear they recovered an empty rifle and sidearm and found body parts spread over many miles, including a torso with wide claw-like gashes, before authorities arrived and news reports blamed wolves.
