The witness spent a spring day fishing and wading upstream alone. Near a recently fallen tree he encountered three dogs, one of which acted aggressively, then heard an extremely loud, powerful vocalization he could feel, saw riverside vegetation including a small tree whip and break, and had a stick splash down in front of him though no person was visible. He left the creek frightened.
Footprints found near Honobia
The witness and companions traveled to southeastern Oklahoma to search for evidence in a reported hotspot. After an uneventful overnight patrol, the witness and one companion discovered three clear footprints and a possible fourth on a steep uphill road at midday. They estimated the prints at over sixteen inches long with a stride of nearly five and a half feet uphill, photographed them with dollar bills for scale, and did not make casts or precise measurements.
Family finds long-stride footprints in snow near house
After an overnight snowfall, the witness noticed large tracks in the snow beside the house from a window, then later found they continued across the front yard into the woods. The trackway was described as bipedal with a long stride of about five feet and no sign of pausing. The witness photographed the tracks alongside the house and their own boot prints for scale, but the film was undeveloped at the time of the report.

Two people walking by a creek behind their cabin while shooting .22 rifles found unusual tracks in snow about 10 inches deep. The tracks were about 13 inches long and 6 inches wide, offset like human tracks but with irregularly long intervals. The witness said they could not jump from one track to the next.

Late at night a resident went onto the porch after the outside dog became highly agitated and heard continuous loud shrieking screams, which the spouse also heard. The next morning footprints were found in deep snow leading across a field toward the forest with long strides, and a second set was reported to join the first in the woods. Photographs of the tracks were said to have been taken.

A witness visited a highway south of Mandaree a day after hearing of a reported sighting and found a long line of large footprints in snow running parallel to the road. The trackway was estimated at over 200 prints with a long stride. Photos taken two days after the tracks were made showed only large round impressions because warm weather had melted detail.

The witness was snowmachining at night with two companions when the witness rode ahead into an opening in the woods. After noticing strange tracks and a depression in fresh snow, the witness's headlight illuminated a figure about 10 to 12 feet ahead running away. The figure ran through deep snow, jumped over a snow-covered log, and disappeared into trees and darkness. The witness turned back, rejoined the companions, and left the area.

The witness and a companion were walking up a remote dirt road at night looking for snowboarding hills when they heard a strange sound and found large bare-foot-like prints with visible toes in the snow. After discussing the prints, which were wider and longer than a 12-inch flashlight with a very long stride, a nearby tree began shaking violently and dropping snow and branches, prompting them to run back to the car and leave.

Late at night the witness heard loud walking with dragging footsteps downhill near a path and, with a parent, approached and fired shots without deterring it. The witness and her daughter were driving on a remote dirt road about six miles off the main road when they noticed very large barefoot-like footprints in snow. The prints were larger than a size 12 shoe, had a longer second toe, and led up the mountain across a fence, which they did not follow. On follow-up the witness reported finding four prints measuring at least sixteen inches long, noting the maker crossed a four-foot fence without a change in stride.

Four people were camping around a campfire at Rocky Fork Lake in July 2004 when a large animal came from the woods to the south, circled the campsite three times at close range, and ran toward the lake emitting a high-pitched howl and pig-like squeals before running behind the camp. The group later noticed smeared foot impressions at the site, but rain had obscured detail and no identifiable evidence was preserved.

While laid up at about 11pm the witness heard a low growl that vibrated dual-pane windows and saw a young deer twitching near fir trees with a large neckless outline standing about 40 feet behind it. A car door sound stopped the episode, and next morning he found large partial tracks across a 12-foot creek with an injured left foot and later measured over 19 inches.

The witness and companions cut through dense brambles off trail and broke into a large interwoven tunnel system running for thousands of meters. The tunnels opened into a large bowl-shaped crater whose floor was covered with thousands of old and fresh animal bones, including deer, bear and moose skulls with gnaw marks. Frightened and unable to tell which tunnel they entered by, they hacked straight out to the trail and returned to the cottage.

While tree planting in a remote helicopter-access cut block, the witness found a very fresh barefoot block-shaped track stomped in an anthill with apparent dermal detail. He thought it might be a joke, showed his planting partner, but had no camera. He was later ridiculed for mentioning it.

The witness and a companion were snowshoeing off trail and became stuck in a steep ravine. They found a trackway of large human-like footprints with a long stride ascending a very steep slope through deep snow. They judged the tracks unlike deer, elk, bear, or human due to depth, stride, and lack of drag marks.

Late at night after returning from work, the witness let dogs outside and heard prolonged loud screams, deep throaty sounds, wood clacking and tree-breaking noises attributed to two unseen sources apparently fighting. A deer feed bucket was carried off and left a mess at the feeder area, and horses panicked and ran into fences. No creature was seen.

Late on a winter night the witness took the dog outside and saw a large hair-covered figure standing near a small building about 20-25 feet away. The witness and figure observed each other while the dog wanted to go inside and a strong foul smell was present. After briefly looking away at a noise, the witness went inside for a handgun, and on returning the figure was gone though sounds remained in the woods. A large footprint was found the next day.

The witness and a companion were camped overnight in a shelter when the witness heard movement circling the camp, popping-like impacts and growls. The witness briefly saw a large dark shape among trees that was gone on second look. After investigating, the pair heard a heavy bipedal approach pass close behind camp, prompting them to leave for the cabin. The next day the witness found a large footprint and a freshly fallen tree.

The witness reports finding a single large human-like footprint in mud at the back of a lake cove while scouting for animal sign. The print was much larger and deeper than his own tracks and sat isolated in the washout, leading him to infer a difficult leap between rocky shorelines unlikely for a barefoot human. He notes the find alongside earlier strange vocalizations, while acknowledging mundane explanations remain possible.
