The witness reports hearing strange knocking sounds at night while home alone. The next day she found a small oak behind the barn snapped about eight feet up that had been intact the day before when she had been in the area with a relative. The witness arrived at dawn to hunt deer from a climber stand about 20 feet up a pine. After hearing wood knocks and tree breaks for several minutes, he spotted a tall figure about 200 yards away and viewed it through a rifle scope, describing an 8-foot upright figure with a flat face that smelled the air then ran off on two legs. He climbed down, found a large five-toed human-like track where it had slid, heard whoops from two directions, and left the area.

A deer hunter in a climbing stand watched brush moving about 200 yards away and saw a large dark form squatting and disturbing a tree. When his stand made noise it looked at him, stood on two legs and ran. He found a huge slide track, then heard a wood knock and a whoop from different directions and left, later refusing to return.
