Whoop in Kentucky (2017)
While bow hunting in Kentucky the guest heard a plain higher-pitched whoop on the trail and changed plans. Later after shooting a doe, he and two others found a large heel-like impression at the water's edge leading into the water. He never told the landowner about the whoop.

The witness reported sitting outside at home at night when a loud, woman-like scream came from a nearby hill, followed immediately by two 'who' sounds that did not sound like an owl. The witness called out but got no reply. The next day the witness found a single barefoot-like track showing the ball and toes in a rotten log near the sound's source.
