Tree break in Missouri (2019)
A couple camping alone heard a tree fall, paired tree knocks, grunts, and a growl during the day and evening. After midnight, heavy human-like footsteps circled their tent and campfire, left, returned, then moved off as vehicle lights were flashed. They left the tent for their vehicle and learned the landowner's trail camera captured an orb light that same night.

The witness was deer hunting alone from an elevated stand at dusk when deer behaved nervously. A large unseen animal approached behind the stand, breathing heavily, sniffing, producing knocks and screams, and pacing before moving west. The witness turned on a headlamp and saw a tall dark figure from behind that grunted and ran along a creek bank into the woods.

The witness backpacked solo to a remote campsite and spent the night in a hammock. Throughout the night he heard knocks, screams, howls, voices, footsteps, rocks and twigs landing nearby, and felt his tarp, hammock lines and gear being touched. He also noted a bent-tree structure near camp the prior evening and disturbed logs and tree piles in the morning, but reported seeing no creature.

The witness was photographing along the tree line on the south side of the lake when she heard a close grunting-snorting sound followed by a deep growl without seeing the source. Shaken, she returned toward two fishermen and then left across the dam, photographing a large print in the mud. From the car area she heard the same loud vocalization coming from across the lake where she had been and saw the fishermen hurrying across the dam, after which all parties left.
Recollection of seeing a huge bipedal shadow while camping that steals food near Steelville
The witness was camping alone in a tall tent when something large approached at night. A tall shadow with broad shoulders was cast on the tent by an outside lantern. The visitor opened food containers, ate bread, growled, overturned a cooler and carried off meat before leaving toward the river where vocalizations were heard. Large footprints and teeth marks were found the following morning.
Footsteps near St Clair, Missouri (1970)
The guest's sister said that in the 1970s she repeatedly heard something bipedal walking behind her house at night. The next morning her son found long reddish-brown hair on a barbed-wire fence where the sounds had been. In later years she has also reported howl-like vocalizations and heavy breathing from the woods and once made a phone recording.

The witness and a companion were bowfishing at night at a pump station when they heard high-pitched sounds. A spotlight then revealed a tall hair-covered figure about 25 yards away at the treeline, gripping a limb and watching them for under a minute. The figure grunted loudly and walked away steadily while breaking limbs in its path, after which the two left terrified.

Two officers spent a day hiking between a park trail and the uncle's land into an unlogged old-woods area. They filmed a rock box containing grape stems, numerous large fresh tree breaks all pointing the same compass direction, and a large intertwined structure at the top. They felt followed, heard large movement above them, human-like mumbling, footsteps that mimicked one officer, and a squirrel that abruptly went silent.
