The witness joined a multi-day guided expedition in dense woods. The group found distinct five-toed tracks, heard an owl-call answered oddly, heard a warning-like howl and later chatter, and saw saplings broken at angles. While forward of the group at night the witness used thermal to see a large heat mass between trees that vanished, and shortly after others in the same vicinity were growled at.

The witness reports nearly a year of interaction at a rural home property where food left in a tree was taken, rocks were tossed near family members, vocalizations and a strong odor were noted, and a large hairy figure was partly seen beside a tree. The family came to view the main animal as a gentle female and believed several others including young were present. Activity is said to have faded after new homes were built nearby.

The witness hiked into the national forest in late afternoon to photograph woods and wildlife and waited near a utility clearing. After briefly seeing a juvenile bear emerge and retreat, the witness turned and noticed a large upright human-like shape close by in thick brush. A tree trunk snapped and fell toward the witness, who fled to the car and drove away, later concluding the shape might have been a Sasquatch.

A couple walking on a gated two-track trail near the Trinity River at dusk claimed a rusty-red upright figure about six feet tall leapt across the trail about 40 yards ahead and disappeared into the woods in under a second. They ran to the crossing point and reported hearing it continue running through the woods, flushing birds, and the primary witness smelled a strong musky odor. They found no tracks but noted a clump of freshly uprooted trees nearby.

After hearing tree breaks, movement, strange noises and heavy footsteps, the witness saw a large red bipedal animal walk along the road. When the witness spoke on the radio the animal screamed and ran away, and two large footprints were later found in silt.

The witness and a companion were inside the home at a table when they heard a noise at a window. A figure appeared at another window very close to the witness's face and remained for a couple minutes before walking away to the east. A relative who arrived later found footprints behind the house.

The witness, then about 11, went with his father to a surveyor's home in deep East Texas and followed the surveyor's young son down a thin trail behind the house to a deadfall. The son gave whooping calls, after which the witness heard approaching footsteps, heavy breathing like a horse, a deep word-like vocalization and a powerful percussive sound, then breaking limbs. The witness fled back to the house as a tall dark figure ran alongside through the brush, stopping when he screamed for his father.

The witness, a child at the time, was inside a mobile home with family and a family friend late at night. A heavy thud on the side and prolonged pounding on the door were heard, and the friend saw a tall hair-covered figure looking in through a window. The group hid and screamed, called for help, and the noises stopped; prints were found outside the next morning.
Memory told of a scary, daytime encounter while frog hunting near Ranger
In 1977 two companions hunting frogs at a remote pond heard a roar and saw trees moving. One saw a large brown hairy form partly hidden behind a cedar tree and swaying. Both fled on foot while hearing heavy thuds, and one saw a large rock bouncing nearby. A few days later they returned and found a cleared limb bed and a limb torn from a mesquite tree, but no footprints due to rocky ground.

The witness was alone fishing from a boat on a lake in the afternoon. About twenty yards away on the bank the witness saw a black upright figure trying to hide its face and move away. It slipped through brush silently, ran up a hill, and made loud branch-breaking sounds that frightened the witness, who waited at the ramp before leaving.

Three people toured a remote site and heard a wood knock, then heard loud crashing and footsteps rushing toward them. They retreated and a light stopped the approach about ten feet away before it turned and walked off. The next day they found medium and very large tracks by a broken leaning tree.

The witness, then a teenager, drove to a ranch at night to hunt raccoons with a dog. The dog acted fearful, livestock were huddled, and the woods were silent before a foul odor, heavy thumps, a branch break, growls and a scream occurred. The witness then saw large red eyes and a huge upright figure at close range, froze in terror and prayed, then fled to the truck without clear memory of the retreat, later finding the dog on the road and abandoning the rifle.

Walking the railroad tracks in daylight the witness glimpsed a bare foot and lower leg slip into the woods. Further down by a beaver dam he found a fresh large human-like footprint in mud with clear toes and no arch. He and his friend fetched a digital camera and photographed it with his size 13 shoe for scale.

At his uncle's hillside house at night the adults saw something moving trees and went with guns to look. In a flashlight beam the witness saw a huge tall creature distinguished by massive upright pointed ears. His uncle fired a shotgun and it gave the same loud girthy scream heard on the Fourth of July, after which his father carried him running back to the house.

On a return visit the witness reportedly saw the creature's face, described as orangutan-like with white hair around it, under a different tree shelter and found a large freshly broken branch on the road with no nearby source.

After the night encounter the witness and others returned over about fifteen years to look for tracks, set game cameras, and leave items. The same crippled female was heard, smelled, and twice seen, shook brush, threw objects when angry, tore down a camera tree, liked squeaky toys which she broke and lined up, and watched a dog fetch before disappearing after a road and well brought more people.

The witness and his son camped six miles down the Lone Star Trail despite warnings. At night after the woods went quiet, something heavy approached bipedally, roared, reached through pines shaking and pulling them, and lunged with huge hands. He knelt and put his shotgun in its midsection but did not fire when it backed off, then it screamed, circled the camp throwing trees, iron-ore rocks and dirt while they kept a bonfire burning until early morning.
Footsteps in Texas
The witness returned with a friend and camped, heard footsteps by the tent at night, then walked alone across the creek on a foggy morning. He found a footprint, droppings and a dead smell, listened to heavy breathing behind a thicket for hours, heard a vocalization and a stick hitting a tree, then saw a head peering from behind a large pine. He viewed it through his rifle scope, saw teeth, then walked toward the trail as it left on two legs, and it paralleled him back toward camp.

A homeowner backing to National Forest called police about three large figures moving things on his property and later throwing rocks or slapping the house. The officer found no damage or people. The homeowner also reported nighttime screaming, yelling and chopping with trees falling. The host interprets the activity as Sasquatch.
