Sasquatch sighting near High Palm, California (1994)
While visiting family property, the witness and her partner found a very large human-shaped scat pile containing fruit pits. Later that evening while bathing alone, she saw a head with eyes watching her through a small high window and spoke to it thinking it was her partner. The next day no chair or woodpile was found that could explain someone seeing in, as the window was seven to eight feet off the ground.

On signal they shined high-beam lights and saw a tall dark brown hairy figure step across the trail in one stride and run up a wooded hill breaking limbs. A group of six hiked down a mountain trail in the afternoon. A hair-covered biped crossed the trail between the lead hiker and the next person and leapt down an embankment into trees. The party glimpsed movement and heard crashing as a dog chased it, then watched a distant burnt tree sway with creaking before falling. Believing the creature pushed the tree over, the group left quickly.

He then walked to the lake to call to relatives fishing offshore, and on returning spotted a hairy biped rushing from behind a tree and diving into the water. He waited several minutes but it never surfaced, then found a fresh bare footprint with clear toe detail at the water's edge.

In May/June 1986, the witness was helping a companion gather firewood on a farm when they found trees stripped of bark with snapped branches. Later, while sitting by a pond, the witness saw a very tall, muscular, reddish-brown upright creature about 100 feet away at an electric fence near tobacco trailers. The creature sniffed the air and grunted while a dog barked, then ran back into the woods. The companion's father arrived with a shotgun and found footprints larger than his boot where the creature had stood.
