The witness parked with four teenage companions at a forest spot late at night to watch from a pickup truck. After tree knocks and whoop sounds, the group saw a very tall, wide upright figure silhouetted beside a pine tree in moonlight. The witness later found large footprints at the same spot and made casts.

The witness hiked into the national forest in late afternoon to photograph woods and wildlife and waited near a utility clearing. After briefly seeing a juvenile bear emerge and retreat, the witness turned and noticed a large upright human-like shape close by in thick brush. A tree trunk snapped and fell toward the witness, who fled to the car and drove away, later concluding the shape might have been a Sasquatch.

The witness was alone fishing from a boat on a lake in the afternoon. About twenty yards away on the bank the witness saw a black upright figure trying to hide its face and move away. It slipped through brush silently, ran up a hill, and made loud branch-breaking sounds that frightened the witness, who waited at the ramp before leaving.

A few years before the interview the guest walked a forest road at night in deep East Texas to see if an animal would follow him. After hiding by cane and waiting between pines, he fired his thermally sighted rifle at a heat signature following him. The animal screamed loudly, crashed through brush and splashed across a creek, and was tracked for two days with no blood or hair found.
