She saw a large fur-covered creature on its knees drinking, which then stood up very tall and stepped over a stump. She ran screaming toward the trailer while the creature also screamed, and her companion heard it screaming and breaking trees as it moved away.

For about 10-15 minutes the witness heard something large moving through dense brush, branches snapping, and continuous loud roars and screams that continued despite yelling. They heard a long loud scream that shifted into babble and cackling, saw a large silhouette on a ridge, and followed it for over a kilometer. They later found uprooted small trees, additional tracks in camp, hair on fencing, and a woody debris structure, and heard screaming and a howl that prompted a relative to leave camp.

After hearing distant screams that seemed to shift position and prolonged branch-breaking around camp, the witness stayed awake listening while others slept. The witness heard heavy running and breathing pass the RV and noticed moonlight through the windows dim briefly, then later the companion's son fled his tent to the RV reporting tree-banging, movement, darkness at the tent, and a voice imitation. No one saw anything, and the next morning knocking elicited whistle replies from the woods.
