They walked toward a beaten crossing area and heard very close low guttural sounds, then backed out together. A deer feed bucket was carried off and left a mess at the feeder area, and horses panicked and ran into fences. No creature was seen.

During the night two who were sleeping heard noises and saw a tall figure leaning from the treeline, followed by louder crashing movement circling the camp. They joined the other two, who had also heard noises, and waited until daylight. When they returned in the morning to collect belongings they heard a loud wavering scream and fled, later noting broken limbs in the area.

They heard a distant roar that suddenly sounded a few feet away, lit the area with a spotlight, and saw a tall upright creature with its back to them that ran and then paused. The creature roared again when shot at and pushed over a green cottonwood before the group left.

The witness and relatives were camped overnight when a foul stench filled the air and an extremely loud scream beginning as a growl was heard. The dog hid, and rounds fired into the air temporarily drove the source away, but it returned repeatedly until dawn despite a large fire. Nothing was ever seen and no unusual tracks were found, though a nearby stand of broken saplings carried the same odor.

Sitting at camp after dark, the group heard a series of loud howl-scream-growl vocals that started hundreds of yards away and came much closer in paced intervals. The tellers said it sounded like a werewolf from a movie and unlike coyote or wolf behavior. A track was later found and cast about 100 yards from camp.

A few years before the interview the guest walked a forest road at night in deep East Texas to see if an animal would follow him. After hiding by cane and waiting between pines, he fired his thermally sighted rifle at a heat signature following him. The animal screamed loudly, crashed through brush and splashed across a creek, and was tracked for two days with no blood or hair found.

The dog acted fearful, livestock were huddled, and the woods were silent before a foul odor, heavy thumps, a branch break, growls and a scream occurred. The witness then saw large red eyes and a huge upright figure at close range, froze in terror and prayed, then fled to the truck without clear memory of the retreat, later finding the dog on the road and abandoning the rifle.

Sticks and limbs were thrown at them on a tractor, and whistles answered post-driving. In a flashlight beam the witness saw a huge tall creature distinguished by massive upright pointed ears. His uncle fired a shotgun and it gave the same loud girthy scream heard on the Fourth of July, after which his father carried him running back to the house.

The witness and a companion were fishing at night under a river bridge when they found a fresh human-like track in the mud. They then heard loud roars ending in screams, heavy movement and thudding from across the river, had rocks thrown toward them, and heard splashing and grunting as they left. At the truck they found river mud spattered on the vehicle with a strong foul odor.

The witness and his son camped six miles down the Lone Star Trail despite warnings. At night after the woods went quiet, something heavy approached bipedally, roared, reached through pines shaking and pulling them, and lunged with huge hands. He knelt and put his shotgun in its midsection but did not fire when it backed off, then it screamed, circled the camp throwing trees, iron-ore rocks and dirt while they kept a bonfire burning until early morning.

A paramedic and his partner got a flat tire on a rural wooded road in East Texas in the early morning after dropping off a patient. While working on the tire they heard approaching bipedal footsteps and a loud scream, then a rock and a log were thrown at the ambulance. The witness saw a large hairy humanoid with red eyes standing nearby making threatening displays, then it struck the ambulance hard enough to rock it. They stayed inside while multiple creatures vocalized around them until a supervisor arrived about 45 minutes later.

A homeowner backing to National Forest called police about three large figures moving things on his property and later throwing rocks or slapping the house. The officer found no damage or people. The homeowner also reported nighttime screaming, yelling and chopping with trees falling. The host interprets the activity as Sasquatch.
