Homeowner recounts multiple instances of rock throwing and vocalizations near Mount Pleasant
Late at night the witness took the dog into the backyard overlooking a river and heard grunt-like vocalizations from the opposite bank. From the deck the witness heard something large moving through brush and keeping pace with them, then heard a loud crack, a large splash, wading steps, and a rock thrown across the river. The witness heard water dripping and shaking off fur and a strange snort before the animal moved away through underbrush. The next morning a previously intact rotten stump across the river was found split with half lying at the river's edge.

The witness recalls numerous puzzling occurrences from 30-40 years ago on a family farm of about 100 acres with orchards and woods. These included trees reportedly moved to block trails, an elaborate woven arch structure, large human-like footprints with long strides, rocks and a branch thrown near the witness, loud clicking exchanges, and nighttime disturbances around the barn and house. No creature was reportedly seen clearly, and the interpretation as possible Sasquatch activity developed over later years.
