In early April 2006 around 2:30 a.m., the witness was inside his trailer when he saw a hairy figure staring through a nearby window. When he tried to shut his front door, something held it open against his push. He retreated, armed himself and woke his wife, but the figure was gone and only muddy fingerprints remained on the window.

One night the parents moved the children and a dog into the parents' bedroom, armed the guest, and searched outside. The next day large footprints were found under the sister's window and large handprints on the siding, suggesting something had looked in.
