Fishing family describes possible Class B activity (incl. tree pushover) 10 miles south of Canadian River
Three family members were bank fishing in the early evening when they heard rustling across the road and felt they were being watched. They then noticed a skunk-like smell, heard a low grunt/growl sound and a large branch break. They watched a large tree get pushed over and fall, then left immediately without ever seeing a creature.

Years later the first witness was told by a construction worker about a camping trip with others along the same creek. The group saw strange moving lights, felt a sudden whirlwind, then heard growling and tree-breaking and footsteps in the creek as they fled. Headlights later revealed a huge upright silhouette standing by a tree.

The witness arrived before dawn to bowhunt from a tree stand overlooking a creek. After sunrise the surrounding wildlife fell silent, several rocks were thrown toward the stand from behind, followed by loud footsteps, branch breaking, heavy breathing and a musky odor approaching to within a few yards behind the witness. After remaining behind the witness for several minutes and emitting a snarling growl, the unseen presence retreated uphill, after which wildlife sounds resumed and the witness left the area.
Hunters experience possible vocals, find nests, get screamed at over three-day hunting weekend north of Reydon
Three hunters camped in a river bottom over the opening weekend of bow season. Over several days and nights they reported heavy impacts, rustling, a skunk-like odor, red eyeshine, wood knocks, whistles, talk-like mumbling, a whoop-ending vocalization, and bent trees and branch structures. The most intense moment was a predawn episode with a deep guttural roar followed by a scream-like sound near camp. They left early after smelling the odor again near a plum thicket.

At age 15 the guest was fishing alone at a creek near his father's house when he heard whoops and saw a large hairy figure behind a sycamore. He confronted it with a .22 rifle, and after it growled and roared he shot it in the throat, then in the hand, then multiple times in the chest as it screamed, broke saplings, and ran straight through a barbed-wire fence across a hay meadow. Later that day his father found broken trees, blood and hair on the sycamore, and blood and hair on the broken fence wires.
