Footsteps in Minnesota (2018)
Three hunters were sitting around a campfire at a remote deer camp when they saw two amber lights in the woods where grouse carcasses had been discarded. After the lights went out and all animal sounds stopped, they heard bipedal footsteps approach, then throat-like gibberish speech behind camp and a large tree crack and fall nearby. Two distinct running departures were heard, and the next morning they found the fallen dead tree.

The witness and a relative were camping on their property when the relative spotted a hairy man-like figure near the campsite. Two people were camping on an island when they heard strange noises through the night into the morning. Around 8 a.m. the noises stopped and they heard something large running on a nearby island, accompanied by a very bad odor. They later found many large tracks around their island, plus a pile of clam shells and a large indentation that had not been there earlier.

Two companions hauled garage trash to a brush burn pile near woods after dark and tended a large fire. They heard running around them in the dark and loud tree-limb breaking, then saw a tall dark figure move along the woods edge and duck in. They fled on the tractor and did not return that night.

After discussing the sighting and finding nearby cabins boarded and barricaded, they heard heavy footsteps and a loud growl escalating to a scream near their tent that night. They spent the night in their truck and left early the next morning.

The witness and three companions were on a canoe-camping trip in the Boundary Waters. While visiting a creek waterfall alone, the witness heard circling footsteps and loud wood-on-tree knocks, then returned to camp. The group returned together, heard knocks nearby, and one companion briefly chased the sound before feeling lured away. That night they heard a loud splash near their island camp, and at dawn found a very large wet footprint by their canoes before leaving the area.
