Sasquatch sighting near Huntsville, Alabama
Two friends sat in a parked car at night on a power-line trail waiting for others. The witness saw a large silhouette block the moonlit trail beside a low-hanging limb, then take a couple steps across. Only two thick legs were visible, estimated seven feet tall with a very deep chest, and it struck the limb with an audible crack. Both occupants fled in the car and met their friends coming up.

Driving about 65 mph after leaving a mall, the witness felt a violent impact that destroyed the front end and scattered parts far behind, but saw no animal. He found hairs and blood spots, noticed a wet-dog smell, and an officer suggested a wolf without filing a report. He later wondered it was a juvenile sasquatch.

While living isolated near a reservoir, the witness repeatedly heard packs of coyotes vocalizing late at night followed by loud snapping of healthy trees about 300 yards away, after which coyotes went quiet. He also heard wood knocks almost nightly but never heard howls and never saw an animal.

The witness and a companion camped separately in the North Georgia mountains after spilling bacon grease near a creek. At night the companion reported heavy footsteps, a large outline at the treeline, and large hairy bodies passing the tent while the tent was shaken violently. In the morning they found concentrated large footprints at the grease spill and the witness's own camp trashed.

A friend who worked as a highway patrolman found tracks where animals fleeing a fast wildfire had crossed a state highway. The highway was about eighty feet wide and the tracks showed it had been cleared in about two to two and a half steps.

While descending a mountain trail alone after climbing with companions, the rider stopped for unknown reasons and heard loud growling nearby that the mind reinterpreted as water. The rider felt suddenly hot and euphoric and began removing clothing despite cold wet weather until companions arriving and splashing through water broke the state. Later on the same ride the group found very large fresh human-like footprints without claws in untouched mud.

During an earlier November hunting trip the same witness reported night knocks, barks, growls, orange eyes, clawed handprints and garden-like structures.
