Months later the witness returned to the same mountain with his wife during the day. They smelled a strong dead-like odor near the vehicle that later vanished, found a single barefoot-like print and then a short trackway of similar-sized prints going downhill, plus game and predator tracks. Near some rocks they felt a sudden temperature drop and mist with an uneasy feeling and noticed the woods were silent before hiking out.

The witness was deer hunting from a stand on wooded acreage in daylight when a tree was seen shaking violently. Looking through a scope, the witness saw a large black-haired creature with a cone-shaped head standing back in the woods swaying side to side for several seconds and noticed a wet-dog-like smell. The witness also reported a teepee-like stick structure and pictures of footprints.

Three family members were bank fishing in the early evening when they heard rustling across the road and felt they were being watched. The witness reports nearly a year of interaction at a rural home property where food left in a tree was taken, rocks were tossed near family members, vocalizations and a strong odor were noted, and a large hairy figure was partly seen beside a tree. The family came to view the main animal as a gentle female and believed several others including young were present. Activity is said to have faded after new homes were built nearby.

The creature stood and looked at her from about 20 yards away, frightening her, and she fled to her stand and called a family member. The witness photographed the tracks and made a cast of the clearest impression, also noting an odd odor and a crashing sound in the area.
