Two trappers set up camp to trap beaver and found their camp demolished and human-like tracks around it. At night they heard rustling, smelled a foul stench, fired a shot and heard something flee. After separating in the morning, one man found his partner dead with a broken neck and bite marks and fled, blaming a wild man.
Sasquatch sighting
A young child reported a furry smelly cowman at the field edge, followed by an older sibling being followed by heavy footsteps and a father finding long coarse hair on a loosened fence wire. That evening the father and son were chased from the woods, night howls with whoops continued, and a large shape spoke and made faces at the bedroom window. The mother shot at an arm reaching for the child, the family fled, and returning days later found the house interior violently torn apart.
Sasquatch sighting
An elderly hunter and a companion were trapping along a remote trail with a bad reputation. During the night one was awakened by a foul odor and saw a large body in shadow, fired a shot, and later found tracks that seemed neither human nor bear. The next day they found their camp destroyed, and after separating briefly one returned to find the companion dead with a broken neck, then fled on horseback through the night.
