Construction workers found a long line of large tracks in snow after an overnight storm. The investigator followed the trackway about a mile and a half through orchards, fields and a ravine. The steps were 4 to 6 feet apart in a straight line with no animal marks inside, and one clear dirt impression was cast before the trail was lost in a worked orchard.

In early morning fresh snow, the witness was walking a paved trail and found large barefoot tracks with a smaller set alongside. The witness followed the tracks to a wooden bridge where they were lost. The find was reported two weeks later.

Several children riding bikes on a snow-covered dirt road reported seeing footprints and walked barefoot in the snow, getting their feet cold and wet. Their mother went to look and reported finding large human-like tracks in deep snow, which were photographed. A later examination documented a trackway of about two dozen large prints leading from a hill to the road.

Five miners were sleeping in their log cabin when multiple creatures attacked through the night. The beings threw rocks, tried to force the door, climbed on the roof, and dug underneath. At dawn the creatures left, and the shaken men hiked out to get help.

Five miners in 1924 reported poltergeist-like activity around their mine and cabin, including voices, machinery sounds, an apported pencil and isolated footprints. After one miner reportedly shot a creature, several creatures allegedly attacked the cabin at night throwing rocks and trying to enter. Only left footprints were reported the next morning.

In the years before the cabin was built the group heard strange whistling between ridges and were ordered to carry guns away from camp. During the first mining year they found a very large track in sand near the creek. These signs preceded the later shootings and night attack.

After a newspaper story ran, a retired couple reported odd tracks in their backyard less than half a mile from where the first trackway was lost. The trail showed a 13-foot step, then several 6-foot steps, then 10-foot steps near a motion light, then sidestepping and side-by-side prints with a drag mark off a wall. The investigator measured and filmed them and could not find continuation in neighboring yards.

A researcher patrolling a closed watershed followed fresh tracks uphill in mud and filmed a subject as it walked away. He later cast the prints, which another researcher regarded as among the best ever. The teller defends the footage against claims the tracks were faked.

Missing Cattle and large footprints found
Two brothers operating a cattle ranch reported losing 300-400 lb calves without trace each May through early July over three to four years, and noted cattle panicking at their approach from a distance. In the third year they found a freshly killed calf with its neck broken, no teeth or claw marks, and a deep parallel-sided bruise, which a vet and others examined. Three sets of large footprints and unknown feces containing smashed bone were also reported.
