Three young men walked a trail at night in a conservation area to look for a pond. Rocks were thrown toward two of them from the woods, strange pacing, a low growl, and rhythmic booming sounds followed them. They found fresh green trees snapped and laid across the trail blocking the path, then were hurried out by more rock throws and close movement before the woods went quiet and normal night sounds returned near the car.

A couple camping alone heard a tree fall, paired tree knocks, grunts, and a growl during the day and evening. After midnight, heavy human-like footsteps circled their tent and campfire, left, returned, then moved off as vehicle lights were flashed. They left the tent for their vehicle and learned the landowner's trail camera captured an orb light that same night.

Two companions scouting a conservation area spotted a large dark bipedal figure about 150 to 200 yards away on a trail. The figure crouched, swayed, then moved quickly to the right and disappeared. The men went to the spot and found a very large fresh footprint and freshly broken small trees.

The witness and a companion were asleep at home when they were awakened around midnight by a thump on a storage box beneath the bedroom window and sensations described as footsteps. The next afternoon they found two lines of large human-like barefoot prints in fresh snow leading toward and past the window, merging into one line before crossing the road toward a treeline. The larger prints were measured at 13 to 14 inches long with strides over five feet, while smaller prints were interpreted as a juvenile. Photos and measurements were taken before melt and wind degraded the tracks.

The witness was lying in bed in an off-grid camper when surrounding animal sounds went silent. Over about an hour the witness heard a single knock, shed creaking as if pushed, rustling and footsteps on gravel, a possible growl and chewing, and a single whoop with no reply. It stayed motionless in the headlights and appeared to be rummaging in trash. The next day the witness and her parents found large footprints with toes in mud and took photos showing a tree bend, an X, rock clacking sounds, and a possible face figure on the ridge.

The larger impression was described as about 18 inches long and 6 inches wide with three clear toes and a possible fourth, with smaller tracks alongside. They felt uneasy and left for the night. The next morning the wife found a very large human-like footprint with partial prints on the shore and kept a broken cast of it.

The witness was driving home from fishing with two companions around 12:50 a.m. when they spotted a large hair-covered figure with its head in a roadside trash can. They pulled close and watched it run on all fours then stand and walk on two legs in their headlights before it escaped behind a building toward a creek. A footprint was left behind and later photographed.

A responding officer documented a ripped chicken coop, dents on the barn, a partial handprint, and heard shuffling in the tree line. The same truck-driver couple described ongoing activity at a cabin property they bought about three years ago on the outskirts of Mark Twain National Forest. After a few months all regular wildlife stopped visiting, and motion cameras began triggering nightly around 10-11 with nothing visible but low growls and a distant siren-like scream that set dogs barking. They also found footprints with toe ridges, fresh tree breaks, bent and intertwined trees, and a semi-circular stacked-log structure of large broken trees behind the property.
