Homeowner describes ongoing activity from a neighboring swamp and takes interesting photos outside Colfax
Around midnight on January 21, 2017 the witness was making calls from the front porch and received a wood knock response from across the street, which drew the dog into the woods. When the dog went quiet the witness entered the woods, beat on an oak and shouted for the dog, then heard knocks, chest-beating, howls, a bluff charge and a tree pushed over while seeing eyeshine. After the witness told the entity to back away, the dog returned and they went home.
Forest Service surveyor finds over 20 large foot prints along a forest service road
The witness stopped after noticing large footprints on the side of a road and found over 20 tracks that entered the woods, crossed the road, and continued into the woods. The tracks had five toes, were larger than the witness's size-12 boot, and sank deeper than the witness's boot print. Deer tracks and deer hair were also present around the tracks. The witness left to get a camera and returned to take five Polaroid photos of the tracks.

The witness was walking a road through the family property to look for trespassers. Just off the road on a cow trail to a pond he found a single deep human-like track in hard dry sandy ground. He covered it and brought game officials who photographed it and said it was not human or bear.
