Rooks Park Investigation
In early morning fresh snow, the witness was walking a paved trail and found large barefoot tracks with a smaller set alongside. The witness followed the tracks to a wooden bridge where they were lost. The find was reported two weeks later.
Man fires shots at an unidentified man or animal near his back porch. Later he finds frozen meat littered about his back yard
The witness was home watching a baseball game when a strange noise from the back porch prompted investigation with a pistol. The witness reported seeing a large dark upright shadow-like figure running toward the woods, firing shots, then seeing it again near an old stable and firing again without hitting it. Afterwards the witness found a porch freezer broken into with frozen food scattered, plus white hairs and ground impressions.
Lots of tracks found while fishing
Five people fishing in a remote creek area found about half a dozen very large footprints that appeared to be about a week old. The tracks ran from the creek across sandy soil toward rocky brush and were described as about 17 inches long and 10 inches wide. Casts were later made from the tracks and the find was reported in newspapers.
Children find 19" tracks in snow
Several children riding bikes on a snow-covered dirt road reported seeing footprints and walked barefoot in the snow, getting their feet cold and wet. Their mother went to look and reported finding large human-like tracks in deep snow, which were photographed. A later examination documented a trackway of about two dozen large prints leading from a hill to the road.
Tracks near Sunnyslope, Washington
After a newspaper story ran, a retired couple reported odd tracks in their backyard less than half a mile from where the first trackway was lost. The trail showed a 13-foot step, then several 6-foot steps, then 10-foot steps near a motion light, then sidestepping and side-by-side prints with a drag mark off a wall. The investigator measured and filmed them and could not find continuation in neighboring yards.
