Security guard on patrol in Canaan area (Summer 2010) describes loud screams and 18-inch tracks

The witness, working as a night security guard at a facility, stepped onto a rear deck for a patrol around 3 a.m. and heard an extremely loud female-sounding scream from the wooded hillside about 100 feet away. After sunrise he inspected the nearby trail and found large footprints that he measured. He later found a similar scream online and said it matched what he heard.
