The witness and a relative were clearing trails in the morning when the woods went quiet. They saw a tall hairy biped peeking from behind a tree about 50 yards away for about half a minute. It then ran upright through brush into a swamp, breaking saplings, and the pair left the area.

The witness was deer hunting alone from an elevated stand before dawn under a full moon. A large bipedal figure emerged from dense woods and walked along a pipeline clearing toward his position, then turned to face him after hearing his rifle safety click, walked backward briefly, spun around and reentered the woods. A larger tree nearby then shook violently, and after sunrise the witness and his companion found worn trails and a footprint but no clear tracks.

The witness was concealed while deer hunting at the water's edge when he noticed movement to the side. He watched a large hair-covered biped rise from a crouch in shallow water, look side to side, then walk out of the water into the woods and disappear over about two minutes from about 50 yards away. On the return to the truck he found a single very large footprint in loose soil.
