Two men taking a short hike encounter bigfoot on the path
Two hikers heard heavy footsteps while hiking a forest trail and later found broken trees and hair caught on a bush. As they headed back near dark, a rock was thrown across the trail and they heard screaming/whooping sounds and later a low grunt/growl. A creature stepped across the path, stared at them, then darted back into the brush, after which they drove to town and were told hikers had seen it for months.
"Bed" area found by bowhunters
The witness was bow hunting with a relative when he found an area where limbs had been torn from trees up to about ten feet and piled flat on the ground like a bed. The material appeared old and was no longer green. He added that he often feels as if he is being followed or watched in that area.
Teens have brief sighting on snowbound road
Two companions were creeping in a Jeep along a snowy logging road when a creature leapt in front of the vehicle, paused facing them, then left the road. They got out and found fresh large footprints with distinct toes that were quickly filling with falling snow. After panic set in, one fired a pistol into the air and they discovered an ammunition box left on the hood had disappeared, then they drove out to the main road.
Tracks found in the snow during boy scout trip
A relative led a group of children on a school outing to look for animal tracks in the snow. The group found two prints and photographed them. Years later the relative gave the photograph to the reporter to follow up, noting the original material dated to 1995.
