Couple has daytime sighting in the Big Creek Wilderness Area
Two people coasting downhill on a motor scooter stopped at a clearcut to look at the view on a clear afternoon. They saw a large brown biped rise from the grass about 100 yards away and walk along the treeline, glancing at them before stepping up a bank into the forest. After waiting about 15 minutes they inspected the area and found a matted grass circle and large footprints leading away.

Lady walking with dog has lengthy, close nighttime encounter
Late at night a witness walking with a dog watched a tall silhouetted figure approach along a ridge. The dog ran ahead then retreated in distress, while the figure paused, crouched, approached closer, then sprinted to cover. Later from concealment it gave two loud screams, and next morning the witness found a line of large forefoot prints.
