Four people were train-spotting and camping by railroad tracks at night when they heard noise in brush across the tracks and saw eyeshine and a large silhouette swaying. They reported a foul odor, cats fleeing, and rocks thrown toward them from the brush direction, with impacts sparking on the tracks. One teen went inside while the remaining witnesses heard chatter and a branch snap south of the first figure, leading the witness to think two creatures were present. The witness then lit the brush and saw a tall bipedal silhouette stand before it disappeared, with no further activity over the next two nights.

Two soldiers on a nighttime security patrol left the patrol base and noticed unnerving silence, cold air, a strong rotten odor, and sounds paralleling them and following behind. They heard a knocking sound and a whistle that mimicked their own signal, then encountered a large shaggy shape blocking the trail that rose from a crouch and walked away upright. They were found by an instructor about a mile from the base perimeter and later told by leadership not to discuss the incident.

The witness and a fellow trainee were pulling night security in foxholes at a remote patrol base when they heard slow footsteps and had small stones and a stick land near them. The fellow trainee saw a tall boulder-like shape by a large pine that did not respond to challenge passwords, prompting both to fire blank rounds and the whole perimeter to open fire. The shape then left rapidly through the draw with loud crashing and a large splash in the creek, after which leaders arrived and joked about Bigfoot while the fellow trainee remained shaken.
Wood knocks heard by hunter near Appalachian Trail 7 miles SE of Hiawassee
The witness was hunting hogs alone on a food plot in the afternoon. He heard two loud wood-on-wood knocks from a mountainside about a quarter mile away, followed about thirty seconds later by a fainter knock from the opposite ridge. He reported no other vehicles in the area and noted there were no roads or trails where the first knocks originated.

The witness was at home around 2 a.m. when a loud, human-like mournful howl was heard about 50 feet from the house. After he opened the door the sound stopped, then about 30 minutes later the same sound was heard again from much farther away. Two nights later she heard wood-on-tree knocks and a very deep growl near the road, then later that night heard a large rock strike the house, heavy thumps in dirt, and tree-knocking from the porch couch where she stayed awake until daylight. She believes two young Sasquatch were attracted by earlier rock-throwing play with her grandson.

Since about 2021 the witness reports ongoing activity around his Georgia hunting property: a deep 15-inch footprint and an 8-inch track, peanut butter jars removed without triggering trail cameras, snapped-off trees, whistles, a tater rake disappearing and reappearing, pebble-sized rocks hitting his blind, and chickens taken through a hole four feet up. The only direct sighting was last week when scanning a power line edge revealed 4-5 foot high paired red eyes that ducked behind a tree and vanished.

The witness then saw a small jet-black upright figure peeking from behind a tree. The witness sat alone on the back patio at night facing the woods and spoke aloud. Three figures approached from different directions with audible walking and breaking limbs. The witness shone a flashlight on the closest one, seeing a large squatting outline with widely spaced bright green eyeshine, then went inside and still heard movement an hour later.

The witness hiked to a riverside fishing spot on a sunny late morning after a cold night. As he came up an embankment he saw a large hairy upright animal standing in the sun about 30-40 yards away and watched it for about 15-20 seconds before speaking to it. The animal then avoided eye contact and left quickly uphill, after which the witness heard rapid knocking sounds like a drum roll from the ridge. He camped there overnight without seeing it again.

Witnesses in a newly purchased rural home surrounded by woods and swamp report repeated dusk and late-night activity. The claims include regular screaming and howling, a recurring skunky rotten odor, heavy running sounds felt on the porch, sightings of a large adult figure running and a large figure squatting or kneeling near outbuildings, and large tracks found with smaller prints nearby. After shooting a deer in fall 2013, the witness left his stand to retrieve and field dress it in a ravine. While doing so he heard loud roar-like screams and howls from two unseen sources to his left and right that seemed to converge toward his position. Feeling watched, he quickly dressed the deer and left the area.

The witnesses felt it was too large, heavy, and tailless to be a mountain lion or bear and suggested it could have been a juvenile Sasquatch.
