On Sunday morning the witness went alone to fish the river below the cabin while his father packed. After calling out to the presence he had sensed all weekend, a roughly ten-foot-tall dark-haired biped stepped from the trees, came down the bank, and stood across the narrow river watching him. They observed each other for about fifteen minutes as the creature scratched, swatted flies, made a deep yawn-like sound, drank from the river, then the witness left fish on the bank and walked back as it splashed through the water and up the hill.

On the final morning while fishing alone, the witness spoke aloud toward the woods and a very tall dark-haired biped stepped out, came down the bank, and stood across the river watching for many minutes. It scratched, swatted flies, made a deep non-aggressive yawn-like sound, drank water with its hand, then remained while the witness left fish on the bank and walked back to the cabin.

In June 2008 the witness was camping and stepped into the woods behind the campsite in the early evening. After hearing a loud crash, the witness saw a dark muscular human-like figure moving quickly through brush toward a ravine about 20-30 feet away. The two companions did not see the figure, and no tracks or other sign were found the next morning.

A group visiting a remote cemetery heard an extremely loud, unearthly yell-like sound coming from about 1000 yards away past a fallen tree across Sugar Creek. The witnesses said it was not a known farm animal and captured it on a camcorder, though quieter on playback. They also noticed a dank, musty odor on the breeze apparently coming from the direction of the sound.

The witness returned to the parcel where he claimed an earlier visual encounter, accompanied by a companion to shoot guns. While shooting near a steep bank, the witness heard large rocks being smacked together in a rhythmic pattern of four to six strikes. The companion did not hear the sound because of ear protection. The witness interpreted the sound as Bigfoot signaling to others.

The witness was at his ranch at night when dogs barked repeatedly from about 1:30 to 4:30 a.m. He went outside around 3 a.m. and heard repeated drawn-out howl-like calls. A second witness later described hearing the same 7-8 second howl repeated three times.

The witness was awakened in the early morning by the dog wanting to go outside. When the kitchen door was opened the dog immediately retreated back inside without making a sound. The witness then heard an unfamiliar howl from the doorway that caused chills, with no other unusual observations.

On two consecutive nights the witness was awakened by extremely loud prolonged roars from about a hundred yards behind the house. He felt vibration and did not investigate. His father did not hear the first night but heard the second and also could not explain it.

The witness walked alone around Oxbow Lake to watch birds and noticed complete silence of wildlife and a strong musky odor. A live tree fell nearby despite no wind, and the witness felt watched. While returning toward the car, the witness heard several loud howls from across the lake and then left.

The witness and spouse were sleeping in a family tent in a campground late at night when both awoke to loud footsteps and breaking branches. Something entered their site, brushed against the tent, and moved to mushrooms at the site edge while they shone a flashlight but saw nothing. After a quiet period it left the way it came, and in the morning the mushrooms were gone. The witness doubted bear, moose, or human explanations based on stride, sound, and lack of reaction to light and noise.

The witness was walking on a dirt road in the evening when a gray-brown figure was seen standing between bushes at a distance. After the witness spoke, the figure made a loud grunt, then turned toward a second grunt heard deeper in the forest and walked away. The witness ran back to a relative, and a next-day visit found a broken branch and flattened vegetation but no footprints.

Two boys staying over for a sleepover heard noises and went onto an upper balcony to look. They saw a tall figure come down a trail between townhomes into the middle of a steep road. The figure paused and looked up toward them, then dropped to all fours and ran back between the homes at very high speed.

The witness and a friend split up to scout for turkeys on the grandfather's ranch in the afternoon. The witness walked a ridge into the wind and surprised a large hairy creature bedded 8-10 feet away. The creature emitted a loud whoop and force that froze the witness, then slid rapidly down the rocky ridge using trees, stood, bared its teeth, and left silently. The witness fled cross-country to a road and later returned to the house where the grandfather had fired signal shots.

The witness and a companion stopped while hiking and watched a reddish primate-like figure peeking from behind trees and brush about 100 feet away. The figure watched them for several minutes, moved away, then reappeared to peek briefly several more times over about 15 minutes. During the encounter they also heard movement in ravines on either side.

The sounds were described as long, low-pitched roar-like screams with a growly tone that dropped lower in pitch. Their dogs became clingy and whined, and were brought inside. The husband first suggested elk or coyote but concluded the depth and duration were not human or known animal.

The witness was alone target shooting on an abandoned strip mine in the late afternoon. After emptying a magazine he heard extremely loud knocking sounds coming from downhill. He listened for a couple of minutes and then left the area without searching because of the volume and being alone.

The witness was walking dogs outside the home before dawn when she noticed a very large hair-covered biped in the street. The creature repeatedly moved quickly closer when she looked away and froze when she looked back, approaching from about 200 feet to near the house. She hurried the dogs inside, heard barking and saw the motion light activate, then remained inside afraid.
