The witness and a companion walked into the woods at night toward a slew and noticed a large figure among palmettos and oaks ahead. The figure stood up and moved quickly behind a tree while heavy footsteps were heard nearby in pepper trees. Both fled toward a fence as the witness glimpsed a huge bipedal figure through the trees and heard a low gurgling exhale.

Later the pair moved to a second blind near a logging road and called for turkeys. The woods went silent and a very loud mid-pitched scream sounded from just behind them by the road. Two hunters crawled into a turkey blind around 5 a.m. and heard a loud high-pitched scream they did not recognize, followed by a huge crash like a tree falling. Frightened, they loaded their shotguns as fast as they could. They also found the roost trees empty of turkeys that had been present in large numbers a week earlier, which they considered highly unusual.

The witness and a companion arrived at a house at night and heard repeated loud moans. After the witness called back, nearby trees shook and dogs barked in succession. A grayish two-legged figure then ran quickly across a field with long strides and dropped behind vegetation. Shortly after, metal clanking was heard and lawn furniture was found displaced.

The witness was driving at night when headlights caught eye-shine at the edge of woods by a road curve. A tall hair-covered biped that had been walking out of the tree line stopped, stepped back into the brush, and watched the stopped car for about a minute to a minute and a half. After the witness called out, the creature moved further back and was heard running off into the woods.

The witness was sitting with two companions around a fire behind the house near a wooded swamp late at night. They repeatedly heard a long whoop-like growling sound from the woods but saw nothing. The first occurrence was in late summer 2008, and similar sounds were heard again in March 2009.

The witness was walking down a woods road when three loud knocks were heard from brush to the left. The witness knocked back on a pine tree and received a two-knock reply, followed by another striking sound from the opposite side. The witness later found a wooden club and holes near a pond, and found a pile of feces on the trail when returning the next day.

A couple at their home in northeast Georgia reported hearing a loud, unfamiliar howl- or scream-like sound late at night on about four occasions between February and mid-March 2009. The husband, who is often awake at night, first noticed the sounds and woke his wife to listen. They said neighborhood dogs barked as if following something moving quickly through the area and that the sound did not resemble known local wildlife. They did not report seeing an animal.

The witness and her father were walking back to the trailhead parking area at night when the father noticed eyeshine in the trees to the side of the trail about 30-40 feet away. The witness was camped in a tent at a primitive site in mixed forest when, in the dark early-morning hours, footsteps were heard crunching through dry leaves off-trail. The unseen walker came from dense woods behind the tent, crossed the trail, and continued east smoothly without a light. The witness stayed still and never saw the source, but later insisted it was certainly bipedal and not a deer.

The witness and two relatives were sitting in an enclosed deer blind near a river swamp in the morning. The investigator surveilled the home for about a year and a half and videotaped two attacks in April 2011 accompanied by a static discharge sound and growl. After a distant mass and a deliverance prayer, the attacks stopped and she has remained free since 2011.

The witness was sleeping in a tent at a campground with family when he awoke in the night. He heard four loud heavy bipedal footsteps pass through the campsite. A young deer that had stayed near camp the prior nights was gone the next morning. He later speculated an animal had pushed the deer toward others waiting in the woods.

Late at night the son was awake in his bedroom when he heard scraping at his window, followed by sniffing-like breathing and a loud grunt. The dogs penned by the window did not bark. He left the bedroom for the couch and was afraid to sleep there for several nights.

Turning, he saw a large but thin, mangy-looking human-like creature moving away 40 to 50 yards distant. As he left, it paralleled him for about a quarter mile, repeatedly stepping toward him then backing away with trembling shoulders and hands, curling its lip and displaying. A week later he returned, found a 14 3/4-inch track showing it had circled him, felt watched, and heard a loud double whistle near the old driveway.

The witness was walking at night from a camper toward town when a loud fall-like noise occurred ahead in the road. A shadowy fur-covered biped stood up about 30 feet away and walked calmly across the road before disappearing into vegetation. The witness continued past the spot believing the creature stayed hidden nearby without further interaction.
