Five teenagers were skateboarding and staying overnight at a half-pipe ramp they built in woods near a swamp. After smelling a rancid odor all day and seeing glimpses, at night in candlelight one witness came face to face at five to six feet with a 7-8 foot tall hairy creature that made a loud robotic ARK bark. They all fled up a hill while it chased and vocalized, later finding the ramp burned from a knocked candle and snacks shredded.

Three people were camping on a ridge during deer season when they heard heavy footsteps circling and piercing screams. After a tree was heard falling, something very large rushed past the camp breaking saplings, and a snapped tree was later found. He prepared to go outside with a handgun to retrieve the outdoor dog but stayed inside after a second roar and a family member's urging, remaining terrified through the night.

The witness and four companions were camped overnight on a ridge between a lake and a swampy area. Between about 1 and 4 a.m. they heard repeated loud screeching calls that approached from a distance to within tens of yards and circled their camp, sometimes accompanied by breaking branches but never revealing a source when lights were shone. After about three hours the sounds receded the way they had come, and the group left at first light without finding tracks.

A group of hunters sitting at their campfire at night heard loud wailing, growling and howling sounds from just beyond the firelight, followed by the sound of trees snapping. They remained in camp as the sounds continued for an extended period before moving away into the woods. At daybreak they found snapped trees, uprooted brush, and heavily disturbed ground in the direction of the sounds.

The witness was alone waiting for the school bus before dawn at the edge of woods. He heard heavy footsteps in dry leaves that appeared to pace him as he moved along the road. As he boarded the arriving bus he heard a deep growl from the woods behind him. He searched the area later that day and found nothing.

The witness was hunting at dawn when something moved in a half-circle around the position to get downwind. Once downwind it gave an ear-ringing scream followed by grunts for about two minutes, then left into very thick cover. A hunting companion also heard the scream, and neither reported seeing the source clearly.

As an eighth-grader, the witness walked alone late at night along a familiar wooded shortcut toward home. In pitch darkness he heard an extremely loud, high-pitched scream from about 20 to 30 feet directly ahead, followed by loud crashing as the unseen source moved rapidly downhill toward a lake. He fled home at full speed and never saw what made the sounds.

Two young family members went to the barn after dark to check animals and one touched fur in the dark and then saw a tall furry biped with red eyes. The creature followed as they left the barn without harming them. An older relative then confronted it with a shotgun, fired in the air, and it ran into the woods making a noise.

They then saw the partial rear view of a large upright hair-covered animal moving away into dense brush while making a guttural sound, and both fled to the house. From inside the woods he heard loud branch and log breaking sounds together with strange slurred chatter-like vocalizations lasting a few minutes, then silence. After other children left the field to go to the house, the witness stayed alone in the dark. A bright light behind him revealed a low saucer-shaped craft with spinning lights around its edge. It hovered, lit the area like daylight with a humming sound, then rose instantly high into the sky, and he ran home.

The grandfather drove in at dusk to find pigs raising a disturbance and something large scattering through the woods. He asked the witness's father for a gun and they found leaves torn up and limbs broken where it had plowed through. The grandfather was badly rattled and thereafter always carried a rifle there.

Everyone was asleep when screaming and commotion from the pig pen woke the household. The father went out with a flashlight while the family stayed inside. He found one pig scratched as if something had reached over the pen, and the pigs were soon butchered to avoid another attempt.
