On a separate camping trip out of hunting season in the same state park area, the witness heard a faint distant whoop-like vocalization, human-like footsteps, and something like a fast animal chase in the woods. Later he found a human trail with machete marks and cigarette butts, which angered him. Shortly after he encountered a DNR officer.

The witness was home at night with two female relatives when they went to open a sliding glass door for air. Pulling back the curtain, the witness came face to face with a tall gray-white hairy creature bent down with a hand reaching for the door handle. Both screamed, the creature made a horrible groan and ran down the hill toward woods and swamp. Tracks were later seen around the door leading toward the woods.

He heard splashing footfalls behind him and saw the same booger coming up the road in his brake lights before it left into the woods. He said he continued to his date and never saw it again.

He hid in a log pile as something ran back and forth, then met it face to face near a fence and pine tree at close range. He fled through the fence, drove home, and was told by his father and grandfather to leave it alone.

[name withheld] said he and [name withheld] followed an individual that seemed ill, moaning and moving slowly before collapsing and vomiting repeatedly. After it crawled away they examined the vomit and found household garbage and a whole kitchen towel. He believed it had eaten from garbage cans near isolated houses and made itself sick.

They heard distress vocals, footsteps, sticks breaking and a log thrown into the water, and [name withheld] glimpsed movement. [name withheld] then saw five individuals across the water with night vision and they packed up and drove out through a muddy levee and gate.

Two hunters with dogs were followed through wooded ridges at night and heard a thump behind them. When they turned with lights they saw a tall creature peering around a tree that did not flinch. They stayed calm and backed out, then the partner panicked when something grabbed and shook his hanging backup light.

While in college the witness went camping to scout for elk season near Quartz Mountain. At night around the fire the group heard bipedal footsteps circling camp from multiple sides and fired a handgun to stop it. The next day while grouse hunting alone the witness heard indistinct mumbling voices again and returned to camp.
