The witness saw a figure run behind a parked semi, then saw a clawed hand and a werewolf-like face peering around it and heard a deep growl. The witness froze and then dragged the injured dog inside. This followed a period of disappearing animals and scratching at windows.

Two friends camped off a gated logging road after noticing a possible tree structure. At night they heard knocks and breaking sticks, saw green eyeshine uphill, and the co-witness saw a smaller black creature with red eyes moving between trees. After a loud scream, they fled in their vehicle and both saw a very large gray-skinned creature in the headlights, then left the area.

He awoke to fast approaching footsteps, then felt the van jerk up as something jumped on the trailer tongue and saw a shadowy face with dread-like hair look into the window. The witness was walking through tall weeds and thought a companion was pacing them. A very loud voice called out the companion's name and laughed with enough force to vibrate clothing. The witness climbed a tree, saw a huge black shape in the weeds, warned it and fired.

Two people were outside a shelter in the Sierras fixing dinner at dusk. They heard pounding, limb breaking and whooping that moved closer, which previously had only happened when they were inside. One of them yelled back mimicking the sounds.

She watched six very large, hairy bipeds come around a cove, with a large male wading while others handled seaweed on the sand. After her camera gear clattered on rocks, the male approached and argued vocally with a female before threatening her, after which she lost consciousness.
